Feature & Follow (#9)

Posted October 19, 2012 by Emma in Blog / 9 Comments

Feature & Follow Friday is a blog hop that is designed to provide some much-appreciated exposure to the bloggers participating, and to expand their following. Hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read, each of whom feature a chosen blog for the week, it’s an interesting way to get to know one another.

Q: When you step out of your USUAL genre what do you like to read? Best books in that genre?

A: This is such a great question… As you all know I’m a massive YA and that is all I seem to read at the moment, courtesy of this blog! =) But when I do step out of my ‘Usual’ genre, what I tend to read in comparison is Sci-Fi/Horror. The Best Books for this genre would have to be Anita Blake; Vampire Hunter Series by L. K. Hamilton. These are brilliant and I absolutely enjoyed them. There are so many books in this series that I haven’t finished them yet and I’m on Book 12! However, when I need something to whined down too and is an easy-reading book, I tend to go for Romance Fiction Books. This Best Book I have read for this genre is Monday to Friday Man by Alice Peterson, this left me in tears of joy and it absolutely moved me and the romance… Awww!

What other genres do you like apart from your ‘Usual’? I’d love to know… Leave your blogs FF below and I will be sure to ‘hop’ on over…

  1. Thanks for stopping by my blog, I'm a new follower as well! I love your blog design btw, the header is especially gorgeous! I have read a couple Anita Blake books and really enjoyed them, I need to read more!

  2. I got the first part of The Vampire Hunter series a couple of weeks ago and I'm really looking forward to reading it!

I guess adult fiction would be where I got the most out of my usual genre…
