“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill @ Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.

Pivot Point

Title – Pivot Point
Author – Kasie West
Released Date: February 12th 2013

Addison Coleman’s life is one big “What if?” As a Searcher, whenever Addie is faced with a choice, she can look into the future and see both outcomes. It’s the ultimate insurance plan against disaster. Or so she thought. When Addie’s parents ambush her with the news of their divorce, she has to pick who she wants to live with–her father, who is leaving the paranormal compound to live among the “Norms,” or her mother, who is staying in the life Addie has always known. Addie loves her life just as it is, so her answer should be easy. One Search six weeks into the future proves it’s not.

In one potential future, Addie is adjusting to life outside the Compound as the new girl in a Norm high school where she meets Trevor, a cute, sensitive artist who understands her. In the other path, Addie is being pursued by the hottest guy in school–but she never wanted to be a quarterback’s girlfriend. When Addie’s father is asked to consult on a murder in the compound, she’s unwittingly drawn into a dangerous game that threatens everything she holds dear. With love and loss in both lives, it all comes down to which reality she’s willing to live through…and who she can’t live without.

This book I found on Goodreads, (isn’t it brilliant!?) and this one caught my eye for this weeks ‘WoW’. The Book description looks very intriguing so does the cover. I love the reflection of two personalities, and/or of two choices she has to make the Quaterback or the Artist. Now personally they seem very nice, but I would say that from the description I would go for the Artist… I share a common interest with him. Hmmm.

  1. This one sounds really interesting, I just had to add it the first time I saw it. Imagine if you always saw not just one outcome of the future, but two? I think for me I'd probably find it a bit much lol. And I totally agree, I'd go for the artist. 😉 Brilliant pick this week, Em! 🙂

  2. I am so excited about this one!!!!! It was my wow a couple weeks ago. I love the idea of her seeing how her life will play through in two different ways. I just got an ARC and will give it away in November so check in then to enter! Thanks for stopping by!

Great pick, Emma! This sounds really interesting, and I agree, the artist would be my choice too. 😉 I love the cover for this!
