๐Ÿ“šAPRIL WRAP UP & MAY TBR

Posted May 2, 2018 by Emma in Blog, TBR, Wrap-Up / 2 Comments

Hi Everyone, I thought I would try and do a wrap up monthly post no matter what I’ve read. So not a lot has happened on the blog this month in comparison to last month. Personally a lot has happened, I’ve had Easter holidays and going away to the lovely St Ives in Cornwall, I was reading and relaxing on the beach or in my reading chair on holiday and which took me away from a lot of my blog. Another highlight of the month was going to YAShot in Uxbridge meeting so many of my favourite authors including Lisa Heathfield, Chris Russell, Alywn Hamilton Laura Steven finally, as well as my all time favoruite authors Holly Bourne, Kate and Liz Corr and Melissa Salisbury.

Oh and my blog has had a revamp with a new blog graphic. It was about time and I treated myself to the Apple Pencil and it’s a brilliant stylus especially for the hidden graphic artist in me.

๐Ÿ“šBest book of the month๐Ÿ“š

I will be posting my review this month – but I absolutely loved the fast-paced, adventurous conclusion to the Flawed dulogy. It’s a must read!

๐Ÿ“šThis month I received – Thank you so much lovely publishers ๐Ÿ˜

So I have all the Summoner books and I needed to read them especially when I had Taran on my blog for Fantastical February. But what was the point of reading them and then reading the prequel. So I’m starting properly from the beginning. Well Exile, needs no introduction when it was one of my favourite reads to start the year and I’m so glad that I didn’t have to wait that long.
๐Ÿ“šMAY TBR – well a choice of books I will look at…๐Ÿ“š

My pre-order of A Court of Frost and Starlight is waiting for me at my Waterstones so I can’t wait to pick it up and go back to the world of Fey. Slay I’m currently reading, bands and demon hunting what could be better. The Wonder of Us is coming to me shortly and it’ certain to get me into the Summery mood.
How was your month? What are your May TBR plans?

  1. We attended an event here this past Sunday & had an awesome experience from beginning to end. They served great food and the salad I had for dinner was delicious. The service at venues in NYC also was impeccable.
